If you were to poison an animal you would get a 5,000 fine and up to a year in prison. Depending on the judge you could be put on two years probation. Also animal abusers also get sent to an animal cruelty prevention class and have limited future animal ownership. the concequences of the action of each person depends because at home what we see every day is people mistreating pets and mums shouting DONT DO THAT GO TO YOUR BED but we think the concequences of our actions is not only the one mom shouts but it is the one you will always remember , the day your animal suffered. for me that is the horrible concequence.
